How to: Copy and paste linked picture of cells.
Solution:
Copy the desired cells in MS Excel and paste a link in the destination file.
1) In MS Excel, select the cells to be copied.
2) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Copy'. (Highlighted cells appear with a blinking border.)
3) Switch to the file where the cells will be pasted.
4) Do one of the following:
a) If the file is another Excel document:
1] Click in a cell or select an object where the copied cells will be pasted.
2] Press and hold down SHIFT.
3] Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Paste Picture Link'. (Excel pastes in a linked picture of the selected cells.)
b) If the file is a Word document:
1] Position the cursor where the copied cells will be pasted.
2] Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Paste Special...'. (The Paste Special dialog box appears.)
3] Select the 'Paste Link' radio button.
4] Select 'Picture' from the 'As' list box.
5] Click 'OK'.
